The wonderful surrounding countryside offers excellent walking and cycling on the doorstep together with Hadrian’s Wall and the facilities of Kielder Water close by. The market towns of Bellingham and Hexham provide a wider range of local retail, educational and professional services together with a hospital; an eclectic range of boutiques, cafes and restaurants in Corbridge are also very accessible. Directions
From the A69 take the A6079 (Cross Bank) signposted to Acomb. Follow this road for 3.2 miles travelling through Acomb and Wall and at the Brunton crossroads go straight across and continue for a further 1.3 miles to Chollerton. Take the left turn in Chollerton signposted to Barrasford and Wark and follow the road through Barrasford and after 1.5 miles take the right turn to Gunnerton. Pass the church and take the next left, drop down the hill, over the bridge and the property is facing you on the right hand side.
