A half-glazed stable door opens into the kitchen/breakfast room which is fitted with bespoke units from Robinson-Gay, made from six mixed woods, including an island preparation area with complementary wooden work surfaces. The kitchen area is equipped with a Rayburn electric range cooker with ceramic hob, 1½ bowl under-mounted sink with hot water tap and offers space for a fridge. Off the kitchen there is a traditional, well-fitted pantry which is plumbed for a dishwasher and also offers space for fridge and freezers. A further door from the kitchen leads to a utility room which has a Belfast sink, is plumbed for a washing machine, with space for a tumble dryer. An inner hall, flooded with natural light from a full-height window, leads through to a dual-aspect sitting room with vaulted ceiling, feature inglenook fireplace with multi-fuel stove and solid white oak flooring. The sitting room, which has a fitted base unit to one alcove, offers a fabulous entertaining space with French doors to the front terrace and further glazed doors leading out to a rear seating area. The ground floor bedroom has a part-vaulted ceiling and also has access to the rear seating area and is open to an en-suite shower room with shower, wash hand basin and WC.
A solid oak staircase with glazed panels and overhead skylight leads up to the first floor landing which is fitted with a good range of wardrobes/storage cupboards. The spectacular master bedroom has characterful vaulted ceiling with exposed beams and windows overlooking the front garden together with additional skylights. The bedroom is open to a stunning en-suite with copper and zinc freestanding double-ended bath, round wash hand basin set on a vanity unit and WC all complemented by reclaimed wood floor and feature wall. There is a further double bedroom, which also has a vaulted ceiling with exposed beams, that is served by a well-fitted contemporary bathroom with travertine tiling.
The Coach House is accessed from a shared driveway to The Glebe and electric gates open into a gravelled parking area with parking for a number of cars. A path leads from the parking area to the house winding through the delightful garden.
To the front of the house there is a gravelled terrace which offers an ideal al fresco entertaining area or just to sit and enjoy the magical and peaceful setting. A paths leads from the terrace to the outstanding detached garden room, in the style of a traditional Victorian greenhouse, with exposed brick wall, stone floor and multi-fuel stove to offer year-round use as a sensational entertaining room. The charming, private cottage-style enclosed garden has a generous lawn with surrounding established borders with a mixture of flowers, shrubs and mature trees.
At the end of the garden there is a contemporary garden room which provides a bedroom/sitting room with en-suite shower room and walk-in wardrobe. This garden room offers an ideal annex and could also be used as a home office if required.
