The Property

Field House is a stylish contemporary residence with an abundance of modern features but a very traditional feel. Double entrance doors open into an expansive entrance hallway with engineered ash flooring and a matching open tread hand-built return staircase. This area is bathed in natural light from a tall window to the front of the property, and there is a WC and a large walk-in cloaks cupboard. A beautifully presented living room to the front of the property has a showcase fireplace with exposed herringbone brickwork and a sandstone mantelpiece enclosing a cast iron multi fuel stove. A magnificent Neptune kitchen has an array of traditionally crafted, hand painted units which are finely balanced with granite worktops and stone flooring. There is ample space for everyday dining furniture, and French doors lead to the rear patio. There is a practical utility room, with stable door to the rear, just off the kitchen and this also has a range of Neptune built cabinets complementing those in the kitchen. A formal dining room and a garden room to the rear of the property completes the ground floor accommodation.

A wide first floor landing provides access to all four bedrooms and the main family bathroom. The master bedroom suite has an impressive walk-in dressing room and an elegant en-suite shower room boasting a bespoke vanity unit with twin sinks under a granite top. The main bathroom has a feature quarry tiled floor, mirrored corner walls, large shower and bath.

Externally

A block paved driveway edged with grass lawn provides parking for three cars and leads to the detached double garage. To the rear is a paved patio area ideal for outdoor entertaining or al fresco dining along with a raised grass lawn backing onto an open field.
